Just around the corner....2019 and an exciting new development!

The New Year is just around the corner and Its a time for new beginnings. Inky Quills was one of those "new beginnings" for me 6 years ago when I finally decided I was going to apply for a business license and start this little soap company and see where it went. I had spent years dreaming of owning my own business, almost as many years as I had spent dreaming of having my own little hobby farm. It seemed only appropriate that I start these two dreams together. I bought my log house on 8.6 acres on the Key Peninsula at the end of 2012 and started renovations in January 2013. It was in January 2013 that I also started Inky Quills LLC and so my two dreams started together - Inky Quills and Crow's Croft Farm. I had no idea then what I was in for on both and as difficult as it has been at times, but I have known through it all that it was worth it.

The house is still under construction, but its definitely a  home and Inky Quills has grown into a very successful enterprise. So successful that I have had trouble keeping up with the demand. As most of you who have asked know, the soap takes a minimum of 3 weeks to cure before it can be sold and certain scents seem to always be out of stock because of this. I work full time as well as run the soap business, so I have been racking my brain for ways to get around this dilemma and I believe I have an answer. Starting in 2019, Inky Quills will be offering subscriptions! That's right! Never again will you be without your favorite scents. Setup a subscription to be automatically billed and the soaps of your choice automatically shipped to your home address! I am still working through the details and logistics, so stay tuned for this exciting new service Inky Quills will be offering in the very near future.
